Who are you?
 
Hello, we are Marcus and Emma Diamond, and we are the founders of Aluminium & Ash – a Morgan motorcar specialist, that sells the finest hand-built Malvern cars in the heart of the Cornish countryside.
 
Where are you from, where did you grow up and where do you live now?
 
Marcus - I was born in the West Midlands back in 1973, we only lived only 20 minutes from the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham so as a child I used to visit many motor shows as result, and I think this is probably what started my love for cars. I have lovely memories of visiting the Morgan stand in particular, because my dad had classic cars himself, so Morgans have actually always been in my life one way or another.
 
I then moved to Cornwall when I was in my early twenties. Even though I left behind a wonderful group of friends, Cornwall quickly became very close to my heart. It is still very much a place I’d rather be, twenty years on… It’s where I met my wife, and we got married, 

Emma - I was born in Tavistock, Devon in 1974, but grew up in and around Liskeard in South Cornwall. After I met Marcus, I moved to St Minver in North Cornwall, where I have now been living with him and my two children, 
 
Why Morgan?
 
Marcus – Morgan’s are a true gentleman’s car. It’s very similar to flying in a way, which is probably why I have such an affection for the brand. After the war, a fighter ace once returned to Britain and brought a Morgan 3 Wheeler where he said… “it’s the closest you can get to flying, without wings.”    
 
 
Before you buy any other kind of car, you should look at a Morgan.
